"UnoDosTres/Solo y bien acompañado" is probably one of the biggest discographique efforts of Adrián Iaies. It's a triple box that contains a solopiano volume, aand both duos and trio sessions. Iaies chose musicians with whom had never before recorded.
The Disc TWO is a complete selection of duets with some of the great argentinian jazz players like Ricardo Cavalli (clarinet, tenor sax), Juan Cruz de Urquiza (trumpet), Mariano Otero (double bass), Miguel Tarzia (electric guitar) and Pepi Taveira (drums) with whom he had never before recrded.
And more, Iaies met Taveira for the first time in the studio to record together a very special versions of Bud Powell's "Hallucinations" (Where it's possible to hear Taveira just playing the snare drum with brushes) and Shorter's "Nefertiti".
The selection also include versions of "Body and Soul" with Ricardo Cavalli and "My one and only love" with Mariano Otero and some originals of Iaies.
